Se c’è un ingrediente che di sicuro non manca alle PMI del territorio è la creatività. FuturaPack Srl, con sede ad Alseno (in provincia di Piacenza), è quel che si dice una piccola impresa a conduzione semi-familiare, che da oltre 20 anni è saldamente in sella nel mercato delle macchine automatiche di fine linea, con importanti commesse anche all’estero. Il brand dell’azienda è rinomato e apprezzato nel settore della robotica per le applicazioni uniche e innovative dedicate in special modo al mondo alimentare.
FuturaPack si è già inserita con successo, “sfornando” impianti di fine linea altamente performanti, nel comparto del packaging per food, beverage, prodotti cosmetico-farmaceutici e pet food. Ora, con la più recente realizzazione automatizzata, l’azienda si propone nel settore del Baby Food e lo fa con l’implementazione di un’importante linea robotizzata completa per l’imballo di buste tipo doypack con tappo contenenti purea di frutta per l’infanzia. Vediamo nel concreto come funziona l’isola di lavoro: in primis i prodotti arrivano direttamente dalla macchina di confezionamento, su 4 file ed un sistema a visione ne determina la corretta posizione.
Le buste vengono inserite da 4 robot ad alta velocità del tipo Flex-Picker nell’astuccio formato da fustella stesa. Il trasporto inclinato dell’astuccio permette di introdurre il prodotto con le teste dedicate dei robot che mantengono le buste orizzontali, riempiendo l’astuccio fino al suo margine esterno, in quanto il lato frontale dell’astuccio stesso resta aperto fino a completamento dell’imballo.
Questa soluzione permette il cosiddetto “gioco 0” all’interno della scatola che si chiude quindi sul prodotto, rendendo molto stabile la fila delle buste. Una volta chiusa la parte frontale della scatola, viene richiuso anche il coperchio e la confezione viene pesata (con bilancia statica inserita all’interno della macchina di incartonamento) prima di uscire dalla linea.
Da notare che FuturaPack aveva già precedentemente fornito una linea negli Stati Uniti per lo stesso prodotto inserito in coppette, che vengono avvolte da un cluster e successivamente inserite in astucci e cartoni. Tutta la gestione del carico e scarico delle autoclavi per le coppette di purea è di fornitura FuturaPack, che fornisce impianti sia per buste sia per contenitori rigidi, dedicati al carico di vassoi e scarico degli stessi, quando i prodotti sono sterilizzati in autoclave.
Questo nuovo impianto robotizzato colloca FuturaPack Srl nel mercato internazionale del baby food, per il quale questa società aveva già consegnato una linea per gli Stati Uniti, dove la purea di frutta era inserita in coppette che venivano avvolte da un cluster e poi inserite nell’astuccio, con la tecnologia sopra descritta.

If there is an ingredient that is certainly not lacking in the SMEs of the area, it is creativity. FuturaPack Srl, based in Alseno (in the province of Piacenza, Italy), is what is said to be a small family-run business, which for over 20 years has been firmly in the saddle in the end-of-line automatic machines market, with important orders also abroad. The company’s brand is renowned and appreciated in the robotics sector for its unique and innovative applications especially dedicated to the food world.
FuturaPack has already successfully entered, “cranking out” high-end end-of-line systems, in the packaging sector for food, beverage, cosmetic-pharmaceutical products and pet food. Now, with this most recent automatized system, the company proposes itself in the baby food sector and does so with the implementation of an important complete robotic line for packing pouches with caps containing fruit puree for childhood. Let’s see in concrete how the system works: first of all the products come directly from the packaging machine, on 4 rows and a vision system determines the correct position.
The pouches are inserted by 4 high-speed robots, of the Flex-Picker kind, in the case formed by a flat blank. The inclined transport of the cases allows to introduce the products with the dedicated heads of the robots that keep the pouches horizontal, filling the case up to its outer edge, since the front side of the case remains open until the filling is completed.
This solution allows the so-called “game 0” inside the box, which then closes on the products, making the row of pouches very stable. Once the front of the box is closed, the lid is also closed and the package is weighed (with a static scale integrated inside the case packer) before exiting the line.
Note that FuturaPack had already supplied a line in the USA for the same product in cups, that are packed in cluster and then in boxes and shipping case.
All the loading and unloading management of the autoclaves for the puree cups is supplied by FuturaPack, which supplies systems for both flexible and rigid packaging, dedicated to the loading of trays and unloading of the same, when the products are sterilized in autoclave.
This new robotic plant places FuturaPack Srl in the international baby food market, for which this company had already delivered a line to the United States, where the fruit puree was inserted into cups that were wrapped in a cluster and then inserted into the case, with the technology described above.
FuturaPack can therefore be considered in all respects a specialized partner dedicated to the baby food sector, as well as to the historical food, beverage and pet food sectors.
