Potenti e compatti, sono molto facili da integrare in impianti industriali o sistemi di tubazioni per il riscaldamento dell’aria.
Protagonisti sulla scena internazionale
I riscaldatori Leister, efficienti e affidabili, trovano impiego da molti anni in applicazioni e processi industriali in tutto il mondo. All’ampia gamma di soluzioni già collaudate da decenni si aggiungono ora LHS 210 e LHS 410, a una o due flange: grazie alle dimensioni contenute è possibile installarli anche in processi dove lo spazio è limitato. L’aspetto compatto non tragga in inganno riguardo alle prestazioni: forniscono aria calda a una temperatura che arriva fino ai 650°C.
Le versioni a flangia singola
Sia LHS 210 SF che LHS 410 SF sono flangiati dal lato di ingresso dell’aria, mentre dal lato di uscita presentano un tubo che consente l’eventuale montaggio di diffusori. Oltre alle dimensioni contenute un’altra loro caratteristica è proprio quella di essere compatibili con una vasta gamma di ugelli e diffusori presenti nel catalogo Leister. Il flusso d’aria calda può essere distribuito su un’area più ampia, ad esempio utilizzando un ugello a bocca larga, mentre un ugello a schermo riflettente può facilitare le applicazioni di termo-retrazione, tipiche dell’industria del packaging.
La differenza fra i due modelli è data sostanzialmente dal volume di aria che sono in grado di riscaldare, più alto nella versione LHS 410 SF.
Leister propone il riscaldatore LHS 210 SF nella versione a 230V con potenza di 2000W o 3300W; per coprire le necessità di mercati internazionali è inoltre presente una versione a 120V con 2000W di potenza.
I riscaldatori LHS 410 SF a fase singola con volume d’aria maggiore sono disponibili nella versione a 230V con potenza 2000W, 3600W e 4400W, e nella versione a 400V con potenza 4400W e 5500W.
Versioni a doppia flangia
I riscaldatori LHS 210 DF e LHS 410 DF sono a doppia flangia, il che li rende adatti all’installazione in sistemi industriali di riscaldamento dell’aria mediante tubazioni. Grazie alle loro caratteristiche tecniche possono essere facilmente installati in forni di pre-riscaldo, essiccazione, o termo-retrazione.
Per le versioni “DF” ovvero “a doppia flangia” sono disponibili le stesse taglie in termini di potenza e tensione della versione a singola flangia.
Anche con ricircolo d’aria calda
Nelle versioni LHS 210 SF-R e LHS 410 SF-R, la “R” sta per “ricircolo”. Questi riscaldatori sono infatti stati progettati appositamente per i processi industriali dove è possibile e conveniente riciclare l’aria calda. Il design a doppia flangia li rende compatibili con installazione in sistemi a tubazione. Inoltre grazie ad un particolare accorgimento costruttivo che isola termicamente la parte elettrica, i riscaldatori DF-R possono lavorare con aria in ingresso ad alte temperature, fino a 350°C. In un mondo sempre più sensibile agli sprechi e quindi interessato ad un uso “intelligente” ed oculato dell’energia, questi riscaldatori offrono interessanti opportunità di impiego.
Caratteristiche distintive dei riscaldatori LHS 201 e LHS 410
Se l’aspetto che per primo colpisce di questi riscaldatori è il design compatto che ne permette l’installazione in impianti dagli spazi contenuti, questo non è l’unico vantaggio di LHS. Anche il collegamento alla rete elettrica è semplificato dal design accuratamente studiato. Inoltre, la connessione dell’alloggiamento è collocata al di fuori del flusso di aria calda. Questo presenta due vantaggi: l’aria fluisce attraverso il riscaldatore senza ostacoli e senza perdite apprezzabili di pressione. Inoltre, la connessione dell’alloggiamento è protetta dal surriscaldamento, il che vuol dire che è possibile lavorare con temperature dell’aria in entrata fino a 350°C (versione R).

Leading players on the international stage
Leister’s efficient and reliable heaters have been used for many years in industrial applications and processes all over the world. The LHS 210 and LHS 410, with one or two flanges, have now been added to the wide range of solutions which have been tried and tested for decades. Thanks to their compact dimensions, they can be installed even in processes where space is limited. Their compact appearance should not be misleading when it comes to performance: they deliver hot air at temperatures of up to 650°C.
Single flange versions
Both LHS 210 SF and LHS 410 SF are flanged on the air inlet side and have a pipe on the outlet side for the possible installation of air diffusers. Besides their compact size, another property of these heaters is theri compatibility with a vast range of nozzles and diffusers present on the Leister catalogue. The hot air flow can be distributed over a larger area, for instance by using a wide jet nozzle, while a reflective screen nozzle can facilitate thermo-shrink applications, typical of the packaging industry.
The difference between the two models is essentially the volume of air they can heat, which is higher in the LHS 410 SF version.
Leister offers the LHS 210 SF heater in 230V version with 2000W or 3300W power; to cover the needs of international markets there is also a 120V version with 2000W power.

For the “DF” or “double-flanged” versions, the same sizes in terms of power and voltage are available as for the single-flanged version.
Even with hot air recirculation
In the LHS 210 SF-R and LHS 410 SF-R versions, the “R” stands for “recirculation”. These heaters have been specifically designed for industrial processes where it is possible and cost effective to recycle hot air. The double flange design makes them compatible with installation in pipe systems. Furthermore, thanks to a special construction which thermally insulates the electrical part, the DF-R heaters can work with incoming air at high temperatures, up to 350°C. In a world increasingly sensitive to waste and therefore interested in an “intelligent” and careful use of energy, these heaters offer interesting usage opportunities.
Distinctive features of the LHS 201 and LHS 410 heaters
While the most striking aspect of these heaters is their compact design, which allows them to be installed in small spaces, this is not the only advantage of the LHS heaters. Connection to the power supply is also simplified by the carefully thought-out design. In addition, the housing connection is located outside the hot air flow. This has two advantages: the air flows through the heater unhindered and without any appreciable loss of pressure. In addition, the housing connection is protected against overheating, which means that it is possible to work with input air temperatures of up to 350°C (R version).
