Nuovi raccordi Serie FCM (Food Contact Material)
La gamma di prodotti dedicati al settore food & beverage si arricchisce con i nuovi raccordi FCM, idonei per il contatto con gli alimenti ed il passaggio di fluidi alimentari secondo le Normative Europee (Regolamenti) CE 1935/2004, CE 2023/2006, CE 11/2011 ed il contatto con acqua potabile secondo il Decreto Ministeriale DM 174/2004.
La serie FCM è realizzata da Titan Engineering Spa, azienda del Gruppo Pneumax specializzata da oltre 25 anni nella progettazione e produzione di raccordi e componenti per la connessione dei circuiti pneumatici in ottone, tecnopolimero o acciaio inox.
In termini applicativi, ad aggiungere valore ai raccordi della serie FCM non vi sono solo le attestazioni al contatto con gli alimenti, ma anche la conformità al passaggio di fluidi alimentari, requisito certificato attraverso test eseguiti secondo precise specifiche grazie a un macchinario introdotto nella fase di validazione del processo produttivo di Titan Engineering, realizzato in conformità alla normativa europea 2014/35/UE e in grado di eseguire prove a partire dagli standard dettati dalla normativa UNI EN ISO 1386:2001 e superiori. I test hanno riguardato tutti i materiali dei componenti, già conformi agli standard FC (Food Contact), così come le parti plastiche in POM (poliossimetilene) e IXEF 1022FC (poliarilammide 50% FV) e le parti metalliche in ottone OT57 (CW510L a basso contenuto di piombo, certificato NSF/ANSI 372). La certificazione garantisce la tenuta dei componenti in pressione, non solo con acqua potabile ma anche con altri fluidi alimentari tipo vino, birra e bevande in generale.
Al fine di garantire la massima qualità ed affidabilità nell’ambito di un percorso che si delinea secondo precisi intendimenti dettati dal nuovo Regolamento Europeo UE 831/2018, conosciuto ormai da tutti gli addetti ai lavori come MOCA, il Gruppo Pneumax ha intrapreso un percorso di validazione non solo dei propri processi produttivi, ma di tutta la filiera per garantire a livello di sistema il rispetto delle linee guida dettate dagli enti certificatori.

New fittings FCM Series (Food Contact Material)
The range of Pneumax components for food & beverage sector is enriched with the new FCM fittings suitable for contact with food and the passage of food fluids according to European Regulations (EC) 1935/2004, (EC) 2023/2006, (EC) 11/2011 and contact with drinking pursuant to Italian Ministerial Decree DM 174/2004.
The FCM series is made by Titan Engineering, a company of the Pneumax Group which has specialised for over 25 years in the design and production of fittings and connection components made of brass, engineering polymers or stainless steel for pneumatic circuits.
With regard to application, the FCM series fittings hold certifications not only for contact with food, but also for suitability for the passage of food fluids, a requirement certified by testing carried out according to precise specifications using machinery introduced during validation of Titan Engineering’s production process, carried out in compliance with European Directive 2014/35/EU and capable of carrying out tests on the basis of the standards specified by UNI EN ISO 1386: 2001 and later. The tests include all component materials, already compliant with FC (Food Contact) standards, as well as plastic parts in POM (polyoxymethylene) and IXEF 1022FC (polyarylamide 50% GF) and metal parts in brass OT57 (CW510L with low lead content, NSF/ANSI 372 certified). The certification guarantees component tightness under pressure, not only with drinking water but also with other food fluids such as wine, beer and beverages in general.
In order to guarantee maximum quality and reliability in the context of a procedure set out in specifications under the new European Regulation (EU) 831/2018, now familiar to industry insiders as MOCA, the Pneumax Group has undertaken a validation procedure not only for its own production processes, but also for the entire supply chain to ensure compliance with the guidelines specified by the certification bodies.
