Dal punto di vista delle dimensioni, i contenitori di grandi capacità, come i boccioni da 5, 8 e 10 litri, suscitano un crescente interesse, soprattutto da parte delle aziende attente alle soluzioni green ed economiche. Utilizzando le bottiglie di grandi dimensioni servono infatti meno contenitori per raggiungere un determinato volume di prodotto e conseguentemente vengono ridotti i costi logistici, di movimentazione e di smaltimento.

Neck-in-bottle
SMI sviluppa contenitori innovativi come le bottiglie impilabili “Neck-in-bottle” che, grazie al particolare disegno dell’incavo del fondello, assicurano il vantaggio di:
– ottimizzare lo spazio della paletta
– ridurre i costi di imballaggio: non servono le interfalde di cartone tra gli stati
– minori costi di trasporto e stoccaggio, grazie al maggior numero di bottiglie presenti in ogni paletta
– ridurre gli scarti: i colli delle bottiglie sono soggetti ad un minor numero di rotture nella fase di palettizzazione
– migliorare l’aspetto estetico della paletta, che risulta più compatta e graficamente personalizzabile

Neck-in-bottle
SMI develops innovative containers, such as the stackable “Neck-in-bottles”, that, thanks to a particular design of the hollow of the bottom, offer the advantage of:
– optimizing the space of the pallet
– reducing the packaging costs: the cardboard interlayer pads are not needed
– lower transport and storage costs, thanks to the higher number of bottles on each pallet
– reducing the waste: the bottle necks are subject to fewer breakages during the palletizing phase
– improving the aesthetic aspect of the pallet, that results more compact and that can be graphically customized
