Mad Automation oggi
Mad è in costante crescita sia in termini di rete di vendita che di fatturato con l’obiettivo di rendere il Brand Mad Automation sinonimo di Sistemi di Fine Linea. Negli anni Mad ha ottenuto numerosi brevetti e una Menzione d’Onore per l’Innovazione dalla Camera di Commercio Italiana. Per rispondere alla crescente domanda del mercato di sistemi completi di fine linea, e nonostante la crisi Covid 19 2020/2021, Mad si è recentemente trasferita nella sua nuova sede di 3.500 m2. La strategia di sviluppo per i prossimi anni prevede di rafforzare la propria copertura commerciale sia in Italia che all’estero implementando una rete di vendita internazionale. Il primo passo verso il raggiungimento di questo obiettivo è già stato compiuto con la costituzione della filiale di Mad in Nord America, Mad Automation America Inc.
Mad Automation a Interpack 2023
Mad Automation ha partecipato alla fiera Interpack Düsseldorf dal 4 al 10 maggio 2023 e nell’ampio spazio espositivo a disposizione è stata presentata un’incartonatrice Superfast e un Cobot.
La Superfast di Mad Automation è un’incartonatrice brevettata: tramite un braccio robotico (Flex Picker) i prodotti possono essere disposti stesi, in piedi, di lato o sovrapposti. Il cambio formato è completamente automatizzato e semplice da impostare grazie al pannello touch screen user-friendly. La macchina è inoltre accessibile da ogni lato e i quadri elettrici sono posizionati in alto, semplificando così le procedure di manutenzione e pulizia. I cartoni con i prodotti venivano poi trasportati verso il pallettizzatore robotizzato con un cobot e due baie di carico. La comunicazione tra l’incartonatrice Superfast e il Cobot è totalmente gestita senza alcuna interruzione dal software MAD Brain 4.0. Il software di configurazione grafica dei pallet, integrato nel Brain 4.0, rende inoltre semplice e veloce la definizione degli schemi dei pallet.

Mad Automation has been working for more than fifteen years as a software developer and end of line solutions manufacturer, with the aim of bringing to the packaging and handling industry the maximum benefits in terms of performance and production efficiency. Mad’s continuous research for new technical solutions and improvement of existing systems results in a complete range of state-of-the-art machinery: cartoning machines for self-protected capsules, case packers, palletisers, LGVs (Laser Guided Vehicles) and software, designed to meet every single customer’s specific requirement. The whole design and production process is done internally: research and design engineering, assembly of mechanical parts electric cabinets, custom software development, testing and after-sales support. Mad Automation today
Mad has been steadily growing both in terms of sales network and turnover with the aim of making the brand Mad Automation synonymous with end-of-line systems. Over the years, it has been awarded numerous patents and an honorable Mention for Innovation by the Italian Chamber of Commerce. In order to respond to the increasing market’s demand for complete end-of-line systems, and in spite of the 2020/2021 Covid-19 crisis, Mad has recently moved into its new headquarters, a brand new, state-of-the-art, 3.500 m2 (37.000 ft2) facility. Mad’s development strategy for the next years is to strengthen its commercial coverage both in Europe and overseas by implementing an international sales network. The first step towards the accomplishment of this goal is the constitution of Mad’s Subsidiary in North America, Mad Automation America Inc.
Mad Automation at Interpack 2023
Mad Automation participated in Interpack Düsseldorf May 4th through May 10th 2023. A Superfast case packer and a Cobot were showcased in Mad’s large booth. Mad Automation’s Superfast is a patented case packer. By means of a robotic arm (Flex Picker) it can create multiple patterns inside the case, the products can be arranged horizontally, vertically, sideways or overlapped. The size changeover is completely automated and easy to set up thanks to the operator-friendly touch screen panel. The machine is accessible from all sides as the electric cabinets are placed on the top part, thus granting an easier maintenance and cleaning. The complete cases were then fed to a robotic palletizer featuring one cobot and two loading bays. The communication between the cobot and the Superfast is totally seamless thanks to MAD Automation’s Brain 4.0 software. The graphic pallet configuration software embedded in Brain 4.0 makes the definition of the patterns of pallets quick and easy.
