A CibusTec 2023 M.H. Material Handling presenterà alcuni dispositivi innovativi rispondenti anche alle linee guida più esigenti
L’esigenza principale del mercato alimentare e del packaging, negli ultimi anni, è quella di rispondere alle esigenze sempre più stringenti in termini di sicurezza alimentare e riduzione dell’impatto ambientale, due temi che spesso non vanno esattamente a braccetto e che hanno richiesto molta creatività nello sviluppo di nuovi tipi di confezioni per alimenti. I risultati sono estremamente brillanti, sia dal punto di vista della riduzione della quantità di materiale di imballaggio in senso assoluto, sia per quanto riguarda il tipo di materiali impiegati e il loro smaltimento; la conseguenza diretta, tuttavia, è che le nuove confezioni sono estremamente sfidanti dal punto di vista della gestione su trasportatori e macchine, per questo motivo M.H. Material Handling ha scelto di presentare in CibusTec 2023 alcuni dispositivi che rispondono a queste novità.
Sistema di trasporto SANI-FLEX
In tema di sicurezza alimentare M.H. ha scelto di sviluppare un sistema di trasporto completamente nuovo. Il SANI-FLEX è il suo nuovo standard per le applicazioni con prodotti nudi, appositamente pensato per rispondere alle linee guida più esigenti. Materiali certificati per il contatto diretto con gli alimenti, strutture prive di cavità, filetti coperti, elementi di fissaggio e distanziali tutti dotati di guarnizione, il sistema è, inoltre, progettato per lo smontaggio semplificato, senza la necessità di usare attrezzi, in modo da semplificare e velocizzare al massimo le attività di lavaggio e sanificazione.
Sorter Intralox – AIM
Le nuove confezioni, sempre più leggere e sottili, richiedono nuovi metodi per manipolarle nelle linee automatiche. Il sistema Intralox Active Integrated Motion™ (AIM™) consente di realizzare sorter, switch 1 in 2 e unificatori 2 in 1 e 3 in 1, con una tecnologia innovativa che sposta i prodotti ingaggiandoli dal basso e quindi permettendo di gestire anche confezioni molto sottili che con i dispositivi tradizionali sarebbero soggetti a rischi di incastro. MH produce i dispositivi AIM su licenza nella propria sede a nord di Milano.
Spirale leggera Ambaflex SVn – Bare
Liberare spazio in stabilimento aumentando nel contempo l’ergonomia della linea e migliorando la sicurezza passiva dello stabilimento, creando passaggi operatore e percorsi di passaggio per portare più semplicemente alle macchine i materiali di imballaggio è un’altra forma di sostenibilità. Questo ha spinto M.H. a cercare una soluzione di sollevamento e discesa dei prodotti in uscita dal confezionamento primario. Grazie alla collaborazione con Ambaflex può ora proporre la spirale leggera SVn-Bare: è una spirale a passo fisso con larghezze catena da 100 o 140 mm, particolarmente adatta a realizzare il tipo di passaggi e aperture di cui abbiamo parlato, mantenendo l’investimento a livelli estremamente competitivi. Alla base realizzata dalla nota azienda olandese, MH va ad applicare tutte le personalizzazioni che servono per calarla nei layout dei clienti.
Innovative technology for challenging requirements
At CibusTec 2023, M.H. Material Handling will be presenting some innovative devices meeting also the most demanding guidelines
The main need of the food and packaging market in recent years has been to meet the increasingly stringent requirements in terms of food safety and reducing environmental impact, two issues that often do not exactly go hand in hand and which have required a lot of creativity in the development of new types of food packaging. The results are extremely brilliant, both from the point of view of reducing the amount of packaging material in an absolute sense, and in terms of the type of materials used and their disposal. The direct consequence, however, is that the new packages are extremely challenging from the point of view of handling on conveyors and machines, which is why M.H. Material Handling has chosen to present at CibusTec 2023 some devices that respond to these innovations.
SANI-FLEX conveyor system
When it comes to food safety, M.H. has chosen to develop a completely new conveyor system. The SANI-FLEX is its new standard for naked product applications, specially designed to meet the most demanding guidelines. With materials certified for direct food contact, cavity-free structures, covered threads, fasteners and spacers all fitted with gaskets, the system is also designed for simplified disassembly, without the need for tools, so that washing up is as easy and quick as possible.
Intralox Sorter – AIM
The new, increasingly lighter and thinner packages require new methods for handling them in automatic lines. The Intralox Active Integrated Motion™ (AIM™) system allows sorters, 1-in-2 switches and 2-in-1 and 3-in-1 sorters to be made with an innovative technology that moves the products by engaging them from below, thus allowing even very thin packs to be handled that would be subject to jamming risks with traditional devices. MH manufactures the AIM devices under license at its premises north of Milan.
Ambaflex SVn Light Spiral – Bare
Freeing floor space in the plant while increasing the ergonomics of the line and improving the passive safety of the plant, creating operator walkways and passageways to bring packaging materials more easily to the machines, is another form of sustainability. This prompted M.H. to look for a solution to lift and lower the products coming out of the primary packaging. Thanks to a collaboration with Ambaflex, M.H. can now offer the lightweight SVn-Bare spiral: it is a fixed-pitch spiral with chain widths of 100 or 140 mm, which is particularly suitable for the type of passages and openings we have been talking about, while keeping the investment at an extremely competitive level. To the base manufactured by the well-known Dutch company, MH goes and applies all the customisations needed to fit it into customer layouts.
