Fondata sul finire degli anni Sessanta a Bassano del Grappa, a 70km da Venezia (Italia), Elvem Motori Elettrici è una realtà affermata nel mercato dei motori non solo in Italia ma anche in più di 40 paesi nel mondo.
La seconda generazione guida l’azienda con una particolare attenzione all’innovazione tecnologica e allo sviluppo. Grazie allo stock che sfiora i 150.000 motori finiti, compresi i motori in efficienza IE4, a magneti permanenti, NEMA e media tensione, come i componenti e prodotti semilavorati, Elvem offre un eccellente servizio al settore “Food and Beverage”.
L’ampia gamma di motori è impiegata nell’intera catena della realizzazione del prodotto, dell’imballaggio, della distribuzione e nelle strutture che sono a supporto del business produttivo principale. Elvem è attenta al design della carcassa dei propri motori, per renderla sempre più compatta, maneggevole e per favorirne la dissipazione del calore.
Per il settore “Food and Beverage” Elvem può studiare specifiche soluzioni, anche testando i motori in sale prova di ultima generazione. Ne sono un esempio i motori con vernici anticorrosione, in alluminio sabbiato o interamente incapsulati; in AISI 316L, con protezione IP69K; motori adatti a lavorare ad elevate o basse temperature; per l’installazione su sistemi di ventilazione, forni, zone dove vi sono rischi per la sicurezza dovuti alla presenza di gas e polveri.
Allo stesso tempo, Elvem è focalizzata nell’offrire un prodotto dalle elevate performance che permetta di ridurre il consumo di energia e l’impatto ambientale, in linea con i parametri del regolamento della Commissione Europea “EU 2019/1781”. Infatti, a partire dal primo luglio 2021, tutti i motori asincroni trifase da 0,75 a 1000kW (a 2, 4, 6 e 8 poli, eccetto “Ex eb” a sicurezza aumentata e i monofase) devono avere un livello minimo di efficienza IE3.
Elvem non solo è già da tempo in grado di fornire tutti i propri motori in efficienza IE3, ma anche è pronta a rispondere ai clienti più orientati a efficienze più elevate e al risparmio energetico grazie alla serie IE4 e ai motori a Magneti Permanenti IE4+.

Founded in the late 1960s in Bassano del Grappa, 70 kilometres from Venice, Italy, Elvem Motori Elettrici is an established player in the motor market not only in Italy but also in more than 40 countries worldwide.
The second generation of the family runs the company with a strong focus on technological innovation and development. With an inventory of almost 150,000 complete motors, including IE4-efficient, permanent magnet, NEMA and medium voltage motors, as well as components and semi-finished products, Elvem offers exceptional service to the food and beverage industry.
The wide range of motors is used throughout the production, packaging, distribution and support facilities of the core manufacturing business. Elvem pays great attention to the design of its motor housings to make them more compact, manageable and efficient in heat dissipation.
In the ‘Food and Beverage’ sector, Elvem is able to study specific solutions, even putting engines through their paces in modern test chambers. Examples include motors with anti-corrosion coatings, in sandblasted aluminium or fully encapsulated; motors in AISI 316L with IP69K protection; motors designed to operate at high or low temperatures, ideal for installation in ventilation systems, ovens and environments at risk due to the presence of gas and dust.
At the same time, Elvem is committed to offering high-performance products that contribute to the reduction of energy consumption and environmental impact, in line with the requirements of the European Commission’s “EU 2019/1781” regulation. In fact, as of 1 July 2021, all three-phase asynchronous motors from 0.75 to 1000 kW (2-, 4-, 6- and 8-pole, excluding increased safety ‘Ex eb’ and single-phase) must comply with the minimum efficiency level IE3.
Elvem has not only been supplying motors that meet the IE3 standard for some time, but it is also prepared to meet the needs of customers oriented towards higher efficiencies and energy savings by offering the IE4 series and IE4+ permanent magnet motors.
