Nasce a Parma il primo Forum mondiale sui trend futuri delle tecnologie alimentari che coniuga industria, istituzioni e ricerca – Attesi nel complesso oltre 15.000 operatori e investitori provenienti dall’Italia e dall’estero
Creare il mix perfetto di imprese tecnologiche avanzate, campioni dell’innovazione alimentare, ricerca e le voci più autorevoli della scena nazionale ed internazionale per offrire un momento di confronto e costruire una nuova strategia globale del settore food & beverage.
Sono questi gli obiettivi di Cibus Tec Forum, la nuova Mostra-Convegno ideata da Koeln Parma Exhibitions, dal 2016 joint venture tra Fiere di Parma e Koelnmesse, che si terrà a Parma il 25 e 26 ottobre 2022.
Il Forum, anticipa di un anno lo storico appuntamento triennale Cibus Tec (24 – 27 ottobre 2023) che a 15 mesi dall’evento, e per la prima volta con così tanto anticipo, registra già il 60% di occupazione dell’area disponibile con una massiccia presenza di aziende provenienti da Italia, Germania, Turchia, Danimarca e Cina. 
La Cina, grande assente dalla scena fieristica europea dedicata alle tecnologie alimentari, ha infatti scelto Cibus Tec 2023 per tornare a presidiare l’innovazione tecnologica. Un segnale che conferma come il salone sia ormai un appuntamento consolidato nelle agende degli operatori internazionali.
Cibus Tec Forum, la nuova Mostra-Convegno, intende rispondere all’esigenza di un settore sempre più attraversato da forti cambiamenti, in cui tecnologia, innovazione e la capacità di fare sistema diventano fattori strategici per affrontare le sfide future e perseguire l’obiettivo della sostenibilità.

La nuova piattaforma MyBusinessCibusTec non solo aiuterà le aziende a fare sistema, ma imprimerà una forte accelerazione alla trasformazione “digital” del modello di business di Koeln Parma Exhibitions. La piattaforma consentirà infatti grazie ad un sistema di analisi dei dati di costruire relazioni tra espositori e visitatori sempre più “data driven”.
Al centro della due giorni contenuti di grande attualità quali digitalizzazione, sostenibilità, innovazione, transizione ecologica, packaging e sicurezza alimentare. A parlarne le principali organizzazioni internazionali, tra cui la Commissione Europea, FDA (Food and Drug Administration statunitense) e GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative).
Secondo l’Organizzazione Mondiale della Sanità una alimentazione sana e sicura è la miglior forma di medicina preventiva mentre secondo l’Osservatorio GS1 Italy la quota dei pack riciclabili al 100% al momento è solo del 6,2%.
Il Forum si articolerà come Mostra-Convegno presentando una parte espositiva e una convegnistica. Nel complesso 25 appuntamenti tra seminari tematici e talk e quattro conferenze a carattere internazionale:

A Cibus Tec Forum i visitatori potranno incontrare oltre 500 innovatori, tra partner tecnologici del settore food & beverage, startup, acceleratori, istituzioni e centri di ricerca. Saranno inoltre presenti diverse aree dimostrative che permetteranno ai visitatori di immergersi nello stabilimento più smart del futuro.
Ed è proprio al futuro, quello dell’Industria 4.0 e dell’Industrial Internet of Things, quello a cui guarda Smart Packaging Hub, il nuovo partner di Cibus Tec Forum per lo sviluppo dei contenuti dedicati al packaging e alle tecnologie di domani. Punto d’incontro di eccellenze tecnologiche per il packaging del settore alimentare e delle bevande, Smart Packaging Hub riunisce sei aziende del settore: Baumer, Cama, Zacmi, Clevertech, Tosa e Opem.
Prosegue inoltre la collaborazione con ICE Agenzia e Regione Emilia Romagna che in occasione di Cibus Tec Forum contribuiranno all’organizzazione del Top Buyers Program, che vedrà la presenza – al fianco dei 15mila operatori e investitori attesi – di 200 operatori VIP dell’industria alimentare provenienti da Europa, Nord Africa, Area Balcanica e Medio Orientale.

Innovation, food technologies and start-ups at Cibus Tec Forum

The first world Forum on future food technology trends that combines industry, institutions and research is created in Parma – Italy. A total of over 15,000 visitors and investors from Italy and abroad are expected
Create the perfect mix of cutting-edge technology companies, champions of food innovation, research and the most influential voices on the Italian and international scene in order to provide a platform for discussion and build a new international strategy of the food and beverage sector. These are the objectives of Cibus Tec Forum, the new Exhibition-Conference designed by Koeln Parma Exhibitions, the joint venture between Fiere di Parma and Koelnmesse since 2016, that will be held in Parma on 25 and 26 October 2022.
The Forum is taking place one year ahead of the traditional triennial Cibus Tec exhibition (24-27 October 2023) whose available display area, 15 months before the event and never before so early, is already 60% booked, with a massive presence of companies from Italy, Germany, Turkey, Denmark and China. China, the great absentee from European food technology exhibitions, has chosen Cibus Tec 2023 to participate in this presentation of technological innovation. A sign that confirms that the exhibition has become an established event in the calendar of international operators. Cibus Tec Forum, the new Exhibition-Conference, aims to meet the needs of a sector that is dealing with ever greater changes, in which technology, innovation and the ability to create synergies become strategic factors for addressing future challenges and pursuing the goal of sustainability. “The objective – states Antonio Cellie, CEO of Fiere di Parma and Koeln Parma Exhibitions – is for industry on one side and institutions and research on the other to plan together the transformation that the food technology sector is experiencing, with the active involvement of the entire supply chain. The new MyBusinessCibusTec platform will not only help companies to create synergies, but will accelerate the digital transformation of the Koeln Parma Exhibition business model. Thanks to a data analysis system, the platform will make it possible to build increasingly data-driven relationships between exhibitors and visitors. The focus of the two-day event will be highly topical issues such as digitalisation, sustainability, innovation, ecological transition, packaging and food safety. These themes will be discussed by the main international organizations, including the European Commission, FDA (the United States Food and Drug Administration) and GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative). According to the World Health Organization, a healthy and safe diet is the best form of preventive medicine while according to the GS1 Italy Observatory the percentage of 100% recyclable packaging is currently only 6.2%.
The Forum is organized as an Exhibition-Conference, consisting of both exhibition and conferences. In total there will be 25 events, including thematic workshops, talks and four international conferences:

At Cibus Tec Forum, visitors will be able to meet over 500 innovators: food and beverage technology partners, start-ups, accelerators, institutions and research centres. There will also be various exhibition areas that will immerse visitors in the smartest production plant of the future. And it is to the future – the future of Industry 4.0 and of the Industrial Internet of Things – that Smart Packaging Hub, the Cibus Tec Forum partner dedicated to developing the packaging and technologies of tomorrow, is always looking.
