I motori autofrenanti di MGM vengono progettati e assemblati come parte integrante del motore autofrenante e non come semplice parte di un motore con freno. Ingegneria e assemblaggio perfetti combinati a un freno forte e sicuro rendono questi motori assolutamente affidabili.
I motori autofrenanti di MGM sono asincroni trifase e interamente chiusi e raffreddati a ventola. Frenano in caso di mancanza di energia. La gamma produttiva include grandezze da 56 a 315 mm con energia da 0.03 fino a 130.0 kW.
Le serie di motori autofrenanti MGM sono: BA (altezza d’asse compresa tra 71 e 315 mm), BM (altezza d’asse da 56 a 132 mm) e SMI.
La serie BA è costituita da motori asincroni trifase autofrenanti, potenza è AC trifase, e su richiesta può essere fornita DC con raddrizzatore.
La serie BM comprende motori asincroni trifase autofrenanti, la potenza è DC con rettificatore. La serie BAH di motori asincroni trifase autofrenanti con motore completamente chiuso e raffreddato a ventola (TEFC). La serie BAH comprende altezza d’asse da 180 a 315 IEC. I motori sono progettati per resistere a situazioni di surriscaldamento e sovraccarico per garantire la migliore affidabilità anche in condizioni operative gravose.

M.G.M. brake motors are asynchronous three-phase totally enclosed fan cooled motors. The motors brake in case of power supply failure. The production range is from frame size 56 up to 315 with output powers from 0.03 kW up to 130.0 kW.
M.G.M. brake motors series are: BA (from 71 to 315 IEC frame size), BM (from 56 to 132 frame size) and SMI.
BA series consists of three phase asynchronous brake motors, the brake power supply is AC 3-phase, on request it can be provided DC with rectifier.
BM series consists of three phase asynchronous brake motors, the brake power supply is DC with a rectifier.
BAH series motors are three phase, asynchronous brake motors totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC).
BAH series range starts from 180 and continues up to 315 IEC frame size. BAH series motors are designed to resist overheating and overloading situations in order to guarantee the best reliability under the toughest operating conditions.
