Per più di 25 anni, ha sviluppato soluzioni in acciaio inox per linee di produzione igieniche. Finora si è concentrata principalmente su soluzioni statiche quali i piedini di livellamento, ma ora ha deciso di applicare le sue conoscenze, il suo know-how e la sua attività di ricerca all’area delle parti in movimento. E inizia con le ruote e i supporti per cuscinetti.
La ricerca NGI e il dialogo con clienti/partner di tutto il mondo hanno identificato i supporti per cuscinetti e le ruote come due punti deboli in molti impianti di produzione. Sono difficili da pulire. Sono una potenziale fonte di contaminazione. E si rompono a causa dell’usura.
Le criticità che le parti in movimento rappresentano sono uno dei motivi per cui NGI ha deciso di affrontare questo problema. Un altro è che ha il know-how e il potere innovativo per risolvere le insidie igieniche attualmente legate a questi gruppi di prodotti.
Con quest’ultima innovazione NGI ha messo in discussione l’ipotesi che una configurazione di produzione altamente igienica possa includere dei supporti per cuscinetti di tipo aperto.
In realtà, i supporti di tipo chiuso si sono rivelati la strada giusta da percorrere. Non si tratta solo di migliorare la qualità e la pulizia. I cuscinetti in supporti aperti hanno una vita molto più breve e sono anche costantemente esposti a molta più sporcizia e batteri.
Seguendo i principi di progettazione USDA, EHEDG e 3-A NGI porta le ruote e i supporti per cuscinetti a un nuovo livello igienico. NGI è conosciuta come leader di mercato grazie alla sua linea di componenti in acciaio inossidabile igienici certificati. Ma la sua reputazione non è costruita esclusivamente sui suoi prodotti, è costruita su soluzioni olistiche. Hygienic design is more important now than ever before, and NGI does not just want to make the right solutions, but it also wants to make them easy to use
For more than 25 years, NGI has developed stainless steel solutions for hygienic production lines. Up until now NGI has focused primarily on static solutions such as levelling feet, but now it has decided to apply its knowledge, know-how and research to the area of moving parts. And it starts with castors and bearing houses.
NGI research and dialogue with customers/partners all over the world have identified bearing houses and castors as two weak points in many production facilities. They are difficult to clean. They are a critical source of cross contamination. And they break down due to wear and tear.
The problems, that moving parts represent, are one reason, NGI has decided to tackle this issue. Another is, that NGI has the know-how and innovative power to solve the hygienic pitfalls currently related to these product groups.
With this latest innovation NGI has challenged the assumption that a highly hygienic production setup can include open bearing houses.
Actually, closed bearing houses proved to be the right way to go. It is not just a matter of improved serviceability and cleanability. Bearings in open houses have a much shorter life and they are also constantly exposed to much more dirt and bacteria.
