A un anno e mezzo dall’apertura della sede trentina, sono in arrivo nuove assunzioni e collaborazioni con i centri di ricerca del territorio
Pulsar Industry è una società con sedi a Spilamberto (Modena) e Rovereto (Trento) che fornisce soluzioni automatizzate ai propri clienti sfruttando diversi campi di competenza. Pulsar Industry ha una clientela variegata con una netta prevalenza nel settore alimentare: AIA, Amadori, Beretta, Conad, Conserve Italia, Salumifici e Caseifici Granterre, Rovagnati, solo per citarne una minima parte. All’interno dell’industria alimentare ci sono forti requisiti per tenere il passo con gli standard di alta qualità e il monitoraggio dei processi di produzione.
Punto di forza di Pulsar Industry è l’integrazione del software di fabbrica “Dynamic” nel controllo del processo di produzione. Dynamic è un sistema dipartimentale innovativo e completamente configurabile per la gestione e il monitoraggio della produzione. È una tecnologia di alto livello, completamente integrabile con i sistemi ERP del cliente e consente la raccolta di dati provenienti dai diversi moduli di monitoraggio in campo.
Nel 2023, Pulsar Industry ha raggiunto un fatturato di circa 13 milioni di euro e nel quarto trimestre aprirà una sede nel New Jersey, continuando a investire nella formazione dei propri dipendenti e nella costante ricerca di nuovi collaboratori.
Pulsar Industry ha aperto la sua prima sede operativa presso il Polo Meccatronica nel gennaio 2023. Un anno e mezzo dopo, l’azienda modenese sceglie di investire ancora su Rovereto, triplicando i propri spazi nell’hub di Trentino Sviluppo. Ora cerca progettisti meccanici e sviluppatori informatici formatisi nelle scuole del territorio da inserire nello staff per far fronte alle nuove commesse e progettualità e per dar vita a nuove collaborazioni.
Fondata oltre trent’anni fa, Pulsar Industry conta oltre ottanta dipendenti nella sede modenese. L’idea di aprire un piccolo avamposto di ricerca in Trentino è nata dal successo dei rapporti di collaborazione con il centro di prototipazione ProM Facility, con Hub Innovazione Trentino (HIT) e con l’Università di Trento.
La business unit roveretana lavora sia alla progettazione delle componenti meccaniche degli impianti che al software, con un particolare focus sulle soluzioni innovative. In collaborazione con ProM Facility, per esempio, è nato un progetto per stampare in 3D un sistema braccio-pinza più leggero e performante – un unico componente in plastica anziché in metallo – in grado di ridurre le inerzie e, di conseguenza, i tempi di confezionamento in vaschette termoformate di hamburger e prodotti analoghi.
Con HIT e Università di Trento, invece, sono state lanciate e condotte interessanti “sfide” agli studenti del Master in Sistemi di AI nel campo dell’applicazione dei metodi di Intelligenza Artificiale ai processi industriali del settore alimentare e agli studenti del corso di Laurea Magistrale in “Management and Industrial Systems Engineering” sul tema della pianificazione della produzione.
Pulsar Industry tripled its space for Research & Development
One year and a half into the opening of the Trento offices, new hiring and cooperation with research centres of the territory are on the way
Pulsar Industry is a company with premises in Spilamberto (Modena) and Rovereto (Trento) that provides its customers with automated solutions by exploiting different fields of expertise.
Pulsar Industry boasts various and diverse customers most of whom are in the food industry: AIA, Amadori, Beretta, Conad, Conserve Italia, Salumifici e Caseifici Granterre, Rovagnati, to name but a few. The food industry strongly wants to keep up with high quality standards and production processes monitoring.
Pulsar Industry’s main asset is the integration of factory software “Dynamic” in production control. Dynamic is an innovative and fully configurable departmental system for production management and control. It is a top-level technology that can be fully integrated with customer’s ERP systems and enables collecting data from various monitoring modules.
In 2023, Pulsar Industry recorded turnover of about 13 million euro and, in the fourth quarter, is going to open offices in New Jersey, while investing in its employees’ training and continuous search for new cooperators.
Pulsar industry has opened its first operational offices at the Polo Meccatronica (Mechatronic Hub) in January 2023. A year and a half later, this Modena-seated company devices to invest again in Rovereto, tripling its space in Trentino Sviluppo hub. These days, Pulsar Industry needs mechanical engineers and IT developers trained in the schools of that territory, to expand its staff to cope with the new orders and projects, and generate new collaborations.
Founded more than thirty years ago, Pulsar Industry accounts for eighty employees on its Modena premises. The idea to open a small research outpost in Trentino stemmed from the success of its cooperation with the ProM Facility prototyping centre, with HIT – Hub Innovazione Trentino and the University of Trento.
The Rovereto business unit works on the design of plants mechanical components and software, with particular focus on innovative solutions.
In cooperation with ProM Facility, for instance, was carried out a project to 3D print a lighter and more high-performance arm-clamp system – the only component in plastic rather than metal – able to reduce inertia and, consequently, the packaging times in thermoformed trays of hamburgers and similar products.
With HIT and the University of Trento, interesting “challenges” have been started and carried out by the students of the Master degree course in AI Systems on the application of AI in industrial food processes, and the students of the Master degree course in “Management and Industrial Systems Engineering” on production planning.
