I giunti coassiali di R+W sono la soluzione ideale per i contesti produttivi nei quali viene richiesta una elevata velocità di rotazione e massima affidabilità: nello specifico i giunti con allunga della serie EZ2 rappresentano una risposta efficace grazie alla capacità di gestire le sollecitazioni estreme che si possono verificare nei processi produttivi moderni.
Al fine di rispettare le normative richieste nei contesti produttivi del mondo Food and Beverage, i giunti R+W possono essere realizzati in acciaio inox o essere sottoposti a processi di anodizzazione. Per gli impianti produttivi è prevista una frequenza di lavaggi e l’utilizzo di detergenti basati su tensioattivi a forte impatto corrosivo sui componenti meccanici: un aspetto che vincola i progettisti degli impianti a scelte precise.

La serie di giunti EZ2 presenta delle caratteristiche specifiche definite:
• Due mozzi ad elevata concentricità con sedi dell’inserto concave;
• Configurazione con elastomero di tipo A (durezza Shore 98 Sh A) e B (durezza Shore 64 Sh D);
• I due mozzi sono collegati da un tubo di precisione ad elevata concentricità;
• Tolleranze standard tra mozzo e albero da 0,01 a 0,05;
I giunti con allunga EZ2 non sono gli unici prodotti ad essere utilizzabili in contesti coassiali: tra questi sottolineiamo la gamma di giunti torsionalmente rigidi a soffietto metallico della serie BK (per coppie da 4,5 a 10.000 Nm), MK (per coppie da 0,05 a 10 Nm) e BX (per coppie da 1.000 a 100.000Nm), i limitatori di coppia della serie SK, SL ed ST e le altre allunghe a soffietto metallico serie ZA e ZAE.

R+W’s coaxial couplings are the ideal solution for production contexts where high rotation speed and maximum reliability are required. Specifically, the EZ2 series couplings with elongation are an effective answer due to their ability to handle the extreme stresses that can occur in modern production processes.
In order to comply with the regulations required in the production contexts of the Food and Beverage industry, R+W couplings can be made of stainless steel or be subjected to anodizing processes. Production plants require frequent washing and the use of detergents based on surfactants with a strong corrosive impact on mechanical components: an aspect that binds plant designers to precise choices.

The EZ2 coupling series has specific defined features:
• Two high concentricity hubs with concave insert seats;
• Available with elastomer type A (Shore hardness 98 Sh A) and B (Shore hardness 64 Sh D);
• The two hubs are connected by a precision tube with high concentricity;
• Standard tolerances between hub and shaft from 0.01 to 0.05.
The EZ2 extension couplings are not the only products that can be used in coaxial contexts: these include the range of torsionally rigid metal bellows couplings of the BK series (for torques from 4.5 to 10,000 Nm), MK (for torques from 0.05 to 10 Nm) and BX (for torques from 1,000 to 100,000Nm), the torque limiters of the SK, SL and ST series and the other metal bellows extension couplings of the ZA and ZAE series.
