Esistono inoltre trattamenti privi di PTFE e PFOA, ceramici, come il SOL GEL.
Si utilizza questo tipo di trattamenti ceramici nanotecnologici se si hanno complessi meccanici che dovranno lavorare a contatto con temperature eccessivamente alte, o che hanno l’esigenza di essere antimacchia e resistenti all’abrasione dei prodotti con il quale viene a contatto.
